3.3 Preschool observation

On Feb, 12th I had the privilege to go to the preschool and observe a class. For my preschool observation I was in room thirteen with Mrs. Kelsi and had the opportunity to play and enjoy a hour with these great minds. This was my second time observing this class. I walked in and felt immediately welcomed just like the first time the kids were happy to see me which was a great feeling.

My favorite part about the observation was how different the kids were. Some of they were really talkative while others were shy and didn't want to talk. I loved to hear the talkative kids talk because they just had so much to say. I really liked to learn about all the different personalities in a room.

The second time I went, my highlight was how the kids reacted to my puppet show. When I walked in with it in my hands they were super excited. They all sat on the carpet and made sure to pay deep attention. I started to give my puppet show and the kids were giggling and laughing and having so much fun.  After me and Darby got done we went around to each station and played games with the kids.

What I feel like could do better for my puppet show is I wished I would have slowed down. I feel like I talked to fast and messed it up I made it make no sense. I feel like I could have put my board up better so it didn't fall down. Other then that I feel like I did good and I feel like I was loud enough and they could hear me and they were so intrigued.

Over all my observations at the preschool was really fun. I would like to do it again it taught me so much about little kids and how that school works.  I felt like it was a great learning experience for me and the others.
