4.2 FE Observation

I was given another opportunity to observe Mrs.Dewitt's class 2 more times. this time it was a little different she did more with the essays. She also helped them meet their goals for reading.

My first observation, I helped the kids read and find books. The students were on track to hit their reading goal so they could get a prize on Friday. They were all reading book after book and taking Ar test to get as many as they could.

My second one they were working on their essays again. They had me walking around reading and helping correct the essays and help them. They were all asking for help because they were writing schools lunches and they were all really passionate out it. Half the class they did their schedules for 7th grade though and they were really excited to do it.

My takeaway is that even though we're not doing something very fun there is always a way to make it fun and and intriguing do the kids. 

In conclusion, I think that sometimes being a teacher can be really hard sometimes but sometimes it can be really fun for you and the kids.

4.1 FE Observation 1-2

 On March 19th  I was given the opportunity to observe a middle school teacher Mrs.DeWitt. She is a really nice teacher. I had a great time I spent 2 hours with these young minds and we had a lot of fun. This is Mrs.DeWitt's second year teaching but she seems to know what shes doing.

For my first observation we were in the library for a guest speaker. He was teaching them how to wright poems which I thought was really great. I like to watch how these young minds work and think. Its also fun to read the poems they made and to see the poetry slam was really great too. 

For my second observation they were working on their essays. I walked around for a little bit to see how they were writing. they were writing about the school dress code. It was really great to see how how they felt about dress codes and other things.  

My takeaway is that even when the kids aren't paying attention there is always a way to intrigue them

In conclusion, I think being a middle school teacher would be really fun and interesting to look at things in a different way.
