3.3 Preschool observation
On Feb, 12th I had the privilege to go to the preschool and observe a class. For my preschool observation I was in room thirteen with Mrs. Kelsi and had the opportunity to play and enjoy a hour with these great minds. This was my second time observing this class. I walked in and felt immediately welcomed just like the first time the kids were happy to see me which was a great feeling.
My favorite part about the observation was how different the kids were. Some of they were really talkative while others were shy and didn't want to talk. I loved to hear the talkative kids talk because they just had so much to say. I really liked to learn about all the different personalities in a room.
The second time I went, my highlight was how the kids reacted to my puppet show. When I walked in with it in my hands they were super excited. They all sat on the carpet and made sure to pay deep attention. I started to give my puppet show and the kids were giggling and laughing and having so much fun. After me and Darby got done we went around to each station and played games with the kids.
What I feel like could do better for my puppet show is I wished I would have slowed down. I feel like I talked to fast and messed it up I made it make no sense. I feel like I could have put my board up better so it didn't fall down. Other then that I feel like I did good and I feel like I was loud enough and they could hear me and they were so intrigued.
Over all my observations at the preschool was really fun. I would like to do it again it taught me so much about little kids and how that school works. I felt like it was a great learning experience for me and the others.

3.1: My One Word
I chose fearless as my 2026 word. It represents choosing courage over fear or comfort. Additionally when the ending is uncertain moving forward is crucial.
Being fearless means that I'll have courage and faith in my decisions and trust in myself. It also means that I'll stop letting the fear of failure hold me back from some of the opportunities intended for me.
It also means to me that growth comes through challenges. That means I'll face challenges head on meaning that its shaping me into a stronger version of myself.
In 2026 the word fearless will inpack how speak live and act. And embrace bravery to become who im ment to be.

2.1 Mini Teach Highlight
Recently, we were given the opportunity to teach a mini lesson for either Veterans Day or Halloween. I chose to create a 1st-grade social studies lesson on Veterans Day, which we shared with each other in class.
One of my favorite parts of the experience was creating the assignment myself instead of using a pre-made one. I did some research using my curriculum and built the lesson from there. I also enjoyed exploring other worksheets for inspiration—it really helped me shape an activity that felt meaningful and age-appropriate.
Another highlight was the interactive portion of my lesson. The students were engaged, responded well, and participated in everything I taught. I loved hearing their answers to my questions and seeing them connect to the article I read.
Now I feel much more prepared for my next mini lesson. I know what worked, what didn’t, and what I can improve so that my Christmas lesson will be even better!
Until next time—and as always, Live Your Life in Furr Motion!
